About Grace
My passion for chemistry stems from curiosity about the transformations and interactions of substances in nature and the laboratory. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Physical Chemistry, equipping me with a solid understanding of theoretical and practical chemistry. Over 9 years, I have taught students at various levels, helping them develop conceptual clarity, analytical skills, and laboratory competence.
I employ a student-focused teaching approach, combining detailed explanations, practical exercises, problem-solving, and relatable examples. I encourage critical thinking, experimentation, and active participation while providing structured guidance to ensure learners grasp complex concepts fully.
Outside the classroom, I stay updated with contemporary research, laboratory techniques, and industry developments. Bringing these insights into lessons helps students see real-world applications and enhances engagement. Witnessing learners evolve from uncertainty to mastery, confidently analysing and experimenting in chemistry, is profoundly rewarding and motivates my ongoing dedication to teaching.

My chemistry lessons aim to make concepts intuitive, practical, and engaging. I cover organic and inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics, reaction mechanisms, and laboratory applications. Lessons combine explanations, visual aids, problem-solving exercises, and applied examples to help students understand theoretical principles while developing practical skills. I create a supportive environment where learners feel encouraged to ask questions, experiment, and explore chemical phenomena with confidence.
Beginners focus on understanding fundamental principles, molecular structures, simple reactions, and laboratory basics. Intermediate learners tackle stoichiometry, thermodynamic calculations, kinetic analysis, titrations, and spectroscopy. Advanced learners explore reaction mechanisms, chemical synthesis, applied laboratory techniques, and analytical problem-solving. Lessons are structured to reinforce comprehension, provide guided practice, and promote confidence and independence in handling chemical concepts.
Chemistry education fosters logical thinking, precision, and analytical reasoning.
