About Nohr
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how molecules interact to create the materials and reactions that shape our world. I earned a B.Sc in Chemical Science and later completed an M.Sc in Molecular Chemistry, which allowed me to explore both theoretical depth and practical application. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students transform chemistry from an intimidating subject into an understandable and engaging science.
I believe chemistry learning works best when students feel supported and guided through complex ideas patiently. My teaching style focuses on breaking concepts into manageable steps, using real-world examples, visual explanation, and structured practice. I encourage learners to ask questions freely and build confidence through true understanding rather than memorization.
Outside tutoring, I remain connected to chemistry through continual study, reading modern scientific developments, and exploring applications in materials and medicine. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because students often discover excitement in concepts they once feared. Supporting learners as they grow into confident scientific thinkers is the best part of my work.

Chemistry becomes truly fascinating when students realize it explains the invisible processes shaping everyday life, from digestion to industrial materials. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, acids and bases, and equilibrium with clear reasoning and relatable examples. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding so formulas and calculations feel logical rather than confusing. Each session creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring scientific ideas.
Lessons are tailored carefully to each learner’s level. Beginners strengthen foundations in the periodic table, simple reactions, and core terminology. Intermediate students develop confidence with mole calculations, reaction balancing, thermochemistry, and lab-based problem solving. Advanced learners explore deeper topics such as kinetics, equilibrium systems, organic mechanisms, and exam-level analytical questions with structured guidance. Practice problems, feedback, and correction are included in every lesson for steady improvement.
Chemistry lessons help students grow beyond grades by developing sharper reasoning and scientific curiosity.
