About Jeffery
Teaching is rarely about simply reciting facts from a textbook. I prefer to strip away the clutter to reveal the underlying mechanics of chemical systems.
With 13 years of experience, I emphasize lab and practical work, equation balancing, homework help, conceptual learning, electrochemistry, thermochemistry, mole concept, periodic table and trends, and numerical problem solving. My Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley helps me frame complex chemical data. Having taught 352 students, I have seen every common error. Each session is direct and structured around diagnosing gaps before building new skills.
