About Mae
My interest in chemistry began when I first started exploring how atoms combine to form the materials we see around us every day. I was fascinated by how invisible particles interact in precise ways to create substances with unique properties and behaviors. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and later continue my academic journey by completing a Master’s in Chemistry, where I explored chemical science in much greater depth.
Over the past 11 years, I have worked with many students who wanted to improve their understanding of chemistry at different educational levels. Through my teaching experience, I noticed that many learners initially find chemistry overwhelming because it includes many reactions, formulas, and scientific terms. Because of this, I focus on explaining chemical concepts carefully and connecting each topic logically so students can understand the reasons behind chemical processes.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, clarity, and consistent practice. I encourage students to ask questions freely and explore how chemistry relates to real-life situations such as environmental processes, industrial production, and everyday chemical reactions. Helping students build confidence in understanding chemical science and developing curiosity about how matter behaves is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching work.

My chemistry lessons are designed to help students clearly understand how substances are formed, how they interact with each other, and how chemical reactions take place in different environments. Chemistry explains the structure of matter and the changes that occur when different substances combine or break apart. In my lessons, I focus on presenting chemical ideas in a structured and patient way so students can gradually build a strong conceptual understanding of the subject rather than relying only on memorization.
The lessons usually begin with the fundamental principles that form the base of chemistry. Students first study atomic structure, elements, and the arrangement of the periodic table so they can understand how different atoms behave and interact. Once these core ideas are clear, learners move on to chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, and energy changes that occur during chemical processes. These topics help students understand how molecules are formed and why reactions occur in specific ways.
As learners progress further, the lessons expand into areas such as acids and bases, solution chemistry, and introductory organic chemistry concepts. Students also practice solving chemical equations and interpreting reaction results through structured exercises. By gradually connecting different chemical ideas together, my goal is to help students develop confidence in chemistry and build strong scientific reasoning that supports their academic progress.
