About Nikeshala
I am a food science graduate from UC Davis, I myself have been a student of science not too long ago and my career has been built on guiding students to not only achieve their goals but also to start loving chemistry.
I have guided 100s of students in my career of 8 years where I have not only taught them chemistry but also mentored them to find their passion. I have a record of 6 years straight with my IGCSE students getting a 7 or above with 90% 9s in each batch. I also have a number of students who have got A*s and As for IAL and those that have gone from failing the subject to high Bs and As after re-learning the concepts and repeating the exams with me.
I'm known among the student community as the teacher who can make them understand the subject like no one ever has before; for many, chemistry has gone from being the evil subject to their favorite subject. I take a friendly approach to guide them with positive reinforcement that makes students attend my lessons with enthusiasm and develop a positive attitude towards chemistry.
Watching my students improve and achieve their goals like getting into top universities for medicine, engineering, and other science majors has been the biggest reward of my career that keeps me wanting to help more students achieve their dreams.

A typical lesson is 2 hours long and I always tailor my tutoring strategy to match the student's level of understanding and his or her learning style.
I teach using the textbook and provide the student with notes of the lesson that was covered. I also have summaries of most chapters that need summarising for students to refer them easily when doing homework or getting ready for a quick test. At the end of each chapter I do past paper questions to ensure the student has understood the lesson and is ready for the next chapter. I'm a hands on teacher who is very flexible with my teaching style to match the student's learning style.
