About Daniel
I teach chess to help my students improve their game while developing critical decision-making skills that can be applied to every area of life. My FIDE rating is 2000+ (2400+ online) and I am currently accepting students ranging from total beginners to tournament players.

Unlike most chess coaches, I learnt chess as an adult so I am well aware of the challenges learners face at any level and age and I can really dissect your thought process to help you improve fast. Our lessons can focus on: Building a reliable opening repertoire so you avoid common traps and tricks, understand the long-term plans and get a comfortable middlegame. Sharpening your tactical vision so you can spot hidden opportunities to win material or start a mating attack Avoiding blunders or typical mistakes that can ruin your game strategy, so you can focus on building up your advantage and converting it smoothly Understanding positional play and strategy so you can evaluate your position correctly and create the best plan even when there is no clear path to victory Developing your endgame technique to score more points!
