About Andrew
I am a university student and avid chess hobbyist. I have experience teaching various subjects, to both children and peers. Anyone can play chess, but especially for beginners it can be hard to know where to start. That's where I come in as an approachable and enthusiastic tutor to set you on the right path.

I focus primarily on comprehension. You will not be memorizing dozens of lines or working through hundreds of boring puzzles with me. You will be looking deeply into rich positions and top GM games from the past and present and getting fully to grips with them. I will also tailor my lesson plan to your repertoire and needs, so that you get the maximum out of every lesson.
