About Kadir
Hello, I’m Kadir. I’m 22 years old and based in Istanbul.
I’ve been playing chess for 17 years. I was introduced to chess at the age of 5 by my kindergarten teacher.
For me, chess is more than just a game; it’s a discipline that teaches how to think, stay patient, and make the right move at the right time. I apply what I learn in life to the board, and what I learn on the board back to life.
And the most interesting part is this: even after 17 years, I’m still learning. Chess feels like a world you can never fully solve.

Hello, I’m Kadir. I’m 22 years old and based in Istanbul.
I’ve been playing chess for 17 years. My rating is around 1700 elo, and I’ve been a licensed official chess referee for 3 years.
My teaching style is built on simplicity. No memorizing openings—just understanding the logic behind the game. My main focus is one question:
“How should a chess player think?”

Piece coordination and correct positioning
When to trade pieces and when to simplify
Simple and effective strategic planning
Playing with logic instead of memorization
Who is this for:
Complete beginners (kids and adults)
Players who know the basics but want to improve
