About Rafael
Amateur player since 1997, I have participated in several tournaments, such as Paulista, Brasileiro, Panamericano, Inter-clubs, with above average placements (top 20). I graduated in Production Engineering from the University of São Paulo (POLI - USP) with training in July 2008.

For beginners: I follow the methodology of the book "Basic Chess" by Dr. Orfeu Gilberto Dagostini. An incredible approach, which provides a beautiful initial understanding of the game of Chess. For intermediate and advanced levels, an evaluation of the student is made and a map of strengths and weaknesses is made to identify the potentialities to be developed, such as openings, strategies, tactics, half game, positional, final sacrifices, among other subjects.
