About Max
Chess player with 5+ years of experience. Looking to teach beginner players who want to start their chess progression or just want to beat a family member at Christmas. I am a 23 year old graduate from Oxford University having studied Classics. Now I work in finance and study chess in my spare time. I have experience teaching as a coach for cricket and football and also presenting my academic work and ideas to groups and individuals.

I base my teaching off of the games of students which they have played and analysing them to find improvements and teach new ideas. I also set puzzles for homework and look to recommend other sources which I have found useful in my own improvement.
