About Dani
My name is Dani and I am a Brit who has been living in Christchurch for just over 2 years. I am currently an English Language tutor and have been for 10 years. Having played chess at an international level as a young person for 8 years I would now like to pass on my knowledge of this to those keen to learn this epic mind sport!

My experience of teaching has lead me to have a firm belief that the best and most effective way to learn is to be happy, relaxed and enjoy what you are learning. Subsequently, my teaching methodology focuses on tailoring my technique and approach to one which is specifically tailored to the needs and requirements of each of my individual students. Neither teaching nor learning can be done effectively with a 'one size fits all' approach!
