About Tony
I'm a BEd (Hons) in TEFL. I've worked as a teacher for 15 years at primary, secondary, and higher education institutions.
As part of my volunteering experience, I have collaborated in proofreading for English with 'Mutatis Mutandis' an International e-Journal of Philosophy, translating documents at 'Chileno de las Artes' Cultural Centre, teaching 'Tourism and Hospitality English' to an indigenous community at Cucao National Park in Chiloé Island (southern Chile), and running 'Casa-Taller', a lodging house for international students in Providencia, Chile since 2009.

My lessons have different stages: lead-in, while, and post. I try to use many techniques to enhance my students' language skills. I always come up with cultural notes and humour to draw the learners' attention into the topic of discussion.
