About Esther
I have lived in China for over 40 years. I worked in large corporations before becoming a teacher, helping students achieve excellent results. Many of my students improved quickly under my guidance, and I take great pride in seeing their growth. I've only been in New Zealand for a few months, and I hope to help local students understand today's China, master Chinese and explore the wider world.

I use interactive, student-centered methods with authentic materials from Chinese culture or IB materials. Lessons are tailored to each student's level and goals. A typical lesson lasts 30 minutes, adjustable to your schedule.My lessons suit teens (14–18) at intermediate to advanced levels; beginners are also welcome.
