About XY
I am a scientist working in Oxford. I have a bachelor's degree in bioengineering and a master's degree in pharmaceutics. I got my BE in China, and MSc in UCL. I used to be a member of the Sino-foreign Cultural Exchange Department at university, responsible for helping international students improve their ability to express and communicate in mandarin. Therefore, I have a wealth of experience in oral Chinese teaching.

My teaching methods are mainly divided into two categories, one for starters, another for students who already have a certain foundation. For starters, I tend to start with basic Chinese pinyin and applied methods (i.e., Chinese learning steps for all Chinese students). For other students, I like to develop the course around a topic, which means that students need to research the topic ahead.
