About Yuman
I’m currently an analyst at Accenture in China. I got plenty of free time outside of work, therefore I would like to keep teaching as my part-time job. I'm a passionate teacher and get a lot of joy from interacting with my students.
My hobbies are reading, singing, dancing, yoga. I also do volunteering jobs sometimes. I have obtained the Teaching Knowledge Test (Band 4) certificate from Cambridge for teaching English, and I'm working on the exam for CTCSOL this year as well.

Hi, I'm Yuman, I became a part-time Chinese teacher when I was doing my Master program in Switzerland since 2018. During my years overseas, I had taught foreign students at different levels and in different ages (from 2 year-old to 60 year-old). I also I had part-time Chinese tutoring experiences for Chinese students who are preparing for national college entry exams.
In my class, I set up personalized strategies for different type of students with different goals. I am familiar with different Chinese textbooks and good at illustrating every aspects in Chinese learning, including characters, strokes, sentence structure, and others. We will learn from different topics, and can discuss about regional culture, food, art, industries, anything you are interested in about China. For high-level students, we can also learn to appreciate literature and ancient cultures :)
