About Maya
I’m a native Italian speaker with professional teaching experience and an international background. Living in Canada has allowed me to work with students from different cultures and learning styles, helping me develop a flexible, effective approach to language teaching. I combine structure with adaptability. I take my role seriously, I prepare every lesson with intention, and I focus on delivering clear progress rather than vague “exposure” to the language. My students know what we are working on, why we’re working on it, and how it will help them improve. Professionalism, consistency, and respect for your time are central to how I teach. From there, I build a clear, structured plan.
