About Jack
Hello everyone, I am a Civil Engineer and Scientist, majoring in Applied Mathematics and Atmospheric Science. I like tutoring maths because I find it interesting, I like how it relates to real life and I want to always keep my maths skills sharp for everyday life and engineering problems.

I teach "Simple Maths", which means I make maths seem easy, by simplifying down complex maths topics to easy to understand concepts by relating the maths you learn to every day scenarios, and very importantly, why you should learn particular maths topics very well, as they occur numerous times in real life situations. My lessons are $35 per hour and please send me your questions at least three days in advance of the lesson if possible, so I can quickly explain the topics to you in a more efficient way. I encourage my students to book a lesson once or twice a week, at the same time each week to condition your brain to learning maths at a particular time and also weekly lessons mean the students can ask me question on a consistent basis if they are getting stuck on maths questions from class or just want to improve their grade.
