About Mia
I am currently a dedicated student at the University of British Columbia, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Alongside my academic pursuits, I actively contribute as a proud member of the women's varsity ice hockey team at UBC. While I attend university in Vancouver, I return to my hometown of Calgary during the summers where I also completed my high school education. Consequently, I am acquainted with the Alberta curriculum.
Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working with children in various capacities. I have been tutoring for just over a year, providing valuable assistance to students with diverse learning needs, including those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism. My experiences have fuelled my passion for ensuring that each of my students develops a strong grasp of challenging concepts encountered in their courses.
