About Przemyslaw
I am a clarinetist and instructor with 20 years of experience in teaching and many years as an orchestral musician. I live in Ottawa, though I offer virtual classes via webcam as well, and I teach all ages and all levels, from beginner to University. I have been a Professor at the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon and the Higher Arts Academy in Monterrey, Mexico, and as a Graduate Student at the University of Toronto, and I have 20 years of experience in private lessons. My degrees are: Mater's in Music at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Bachelor's in Music from the University of Toronto.

I approach each student differently, depending on what their goals are in playing the clarinet. Some of my students have gone on to degree programs, some are interested in Royal Conservatory exams, and some are passionate about learning their favorite songs and movie soundtracks. I make sure that they all have a fulfilling experience and improve as clarinetists. I have extensive experience in teaching children (10 years old and up) youth, and adults. For younger students, I follow the Royal Conservatory method and syllabus combined with music chosen by them to achieve a balance of learning and fun. For more advanced students, I follow the curriculum required for the program they choose.
