I am a dedicated classical guitar tutor with a passion for helping students grow musically and technically. With Grade 8 Classical Guitar and Music Theory (ABRSM) and a Diploma in Classical Guitar (Trinity College London), I have guided many students to success in graded exams. Classical Guitar Learning Journey with Sekhar
Teaching Approach
I focus on correct classical guitar technique from the very first lesson — posture, tone production, and finger independence. Lessons combine graded repertoire, technical exercises, music theory, and sight-reading, all following the ABRSM or Trinity College London syllabus.
My method is step-by-step, so students develop skills and confidence steadily while enjoying the process.

ABRSM: Grade 8 Classical Guitar & Grade 8 Music Theory
Trinity College London: Diploma in Classical Guitar
Several years of teaching experience with a students achieving excellent exam results.
Roadmap to Guitar Mastery (ABRSM / Trinity-Aligned)
1. Beginner (Pre-Grade / Initial) - Learn how to hold, tune, and play simple notes.
2. Early Grades (1–2) - Play short tunes, read music, and use basic right/left-hand techniques.
3. Developing (3–4) - Learn slurs, barres, position changes, and more expressive playing.
4. Intermediate (5–6) - Play longer, more challenging pieces with good tone and phrasing.
5. Advanced (7–8) - Master complex techniques and perform music from different styles.
6. Beyond Exams - Prepare full performances and explore advanced repertoire.
