About Jess
I started playing the piano when I was 7, and through the years fell completely in love with it. I am currently studying and practising towards a performance diploma with ABRSM which I expect to complete in 2023 - and I want to continue all the way to Fellowship! When learning how to play the piano, you are not just learning how to play an instrument, you are learning about yourself too. It is an incredibly mindful activity in which you are rewarded with far more than just the skill of how to play the piano :D
I have taught all ages from 5 years upward and I have found with the right approach/perspective - anyone can learn.

I have been teaching piano and music theory towards their grades with 'ABRSM' for piano and music theory for almost 10 years. However, I will not push students towards grades if this is not the path they want to take. I have happily and successfully taught students without aiming towards exams.
After each lesson, the student will receive lesson notes, and specific tips to combat key areas that need the most focus for that week so that they can practise efficiently.
