About Jessica
I am a graduate from the University of Oxford, where I studied Classics. I took modules in Latin and Greek Literature, Roman history and archaeology, amongst many others! More recently, I have moved to Geneva to pursue a master's in International and Development Studies with the IHEID, a research institute linked to the UN. Outside of academia, I love sports (especially rowing), reading and all things musical :) In my free time I volunteer for Solidaritee, a student run organisation which raises money for legal fees for displaced/refugee people.

I am invigorated by the opportunity to work with young people and help unlock their potential and confidence. I provide a flexible and friendly work space, whilst challenging my students to reach and surpass their goals. In the past I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at West Point Grey Academy (Vancouver), a Debate Coach for Scotland's national team and a pastoral mentor for NCS. I have also worked on access programs with University of Oxford, tutoring prospective students from underrepresented backgrounds in advance of their university applications. Further, my passion for teaching is proven by 18 months of professional tutoring in Latin and English Literature/Grammar. I am aware that the opportunity to teach driven and passionate young people also carries responsibility to deliver top tier teaching. My broad range of tutoring experience enables me to adapt to the needs of each individual student.
