About Anthony
My name is Anthony, and I am currently completing my final year of medical school in the US. My training has given me a solid foundation in both pre-clinical sciences and hands-on clinical experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping other students understand medicine in a clear, structured and practical way. I have always been passionate about teaching. Throughout medical school, I’ve supported classmates and junior students with exam preparation, clinical reasoning, anatomy, physiology and OSCE practice. These experiences helped me develop a teaching style that is calm, approachable and easy to understand, even when explaining complex topics. Before entering medicine, I worked in roles that required strong communication, organisation and leadership skills. These experiences taught me how to adapt my explanations to different learning styles and how to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. As a tutor, my goal is to help you feel confident, prepared and equipped to succeed in your exams and clinical studies. I take pride in being reliable, patient and fully committed to helping each student reach their personal goals. My lessons are designed to make medical concepts clear, structured, and exam-focused. I start by identifying the student’s goals and weak areas, then create a personalised plan that focuses on high-yield topics and practical understanding rather than rote memorisation. Teaching Technique & Methodology I use a combination of: Systems-based teaching (cardio, neuro, GI, etc.) Clinical scenario breakdowns to build diagnostic reasoning Step-by-step explanations for complex subjects like physiology, pathology and pharmacology USMLE-style question review with detailed reasoning OSCE-style role play for histories, examinations and communication skills Memory aids, mnemonics, and visual frameworks to make studying easier My teaching style is calm, supportive, and highly interactive. I encourage students to ask questions, think out loud, and actively work through clinical reasoning instead of passively listening. Lesson Length Most lessons are 60 minutes, but I also offer 90-minute sessions for deep-dive topics or USMLE-style question blocks. Shorter sessions can be arranged if needed. Qualifications & Experience Just completing medical school in the US. This gives me up-to-date experience with both pre-clinical and clinical content. I also have previous professional experience in roles that strengthened my communication, organisation and teaching skills. I’ve supported students with exam preparation, clinical skills, and foundational science concepts.
