About Minakshi
It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Minakshi, 40 years old. Over the last decade, I have practiced and taught yoga. My own health concerns led me to begin yoga and I decided to help others achieve the same goal. During my initial yoga training at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, I was trained in traditional hatha style. Later on, I joined and finished my clinical yoga training at the Paramanand Yoga Institute and research centre. I was under a team of doctors and well-trained professionals where we learned and treated patients for various health conditions including arthritis, thyroid, sciatica, fibromyalgia, chronic anxiety, depression and post-surgery and illness recovery. As a yoga practitioner, I have received formal training through 'The Yoga Medicine' USA. Furthermore, I attended various short-term courses with Dr Satbir Khalsa (Harvard) and many others.

In my yoga classes, I take an individualistic approach since everyone practices yoga for different reasons. By using poses, breathwork, counselling, and Ayurveda-inspired lifestyles, I work with 3 bodies: physical, mental and energy body. Since I am a clinical yoga therapist, I prescribe sessions to your specific needs.
