About Rori
Hi! I’m Rori, a Computer Science major at New York Institute of Technology with a strong foundation in programming and real-world experience through internships and research. I’ve worked on projects ranging from building interactive web apps to developing AI-powered financial tools and even exploring quantum computing applications.
I’ve also taught Python as an instructor for Stanford University, where I led coding sessions, guided students through debugging, and boosted engagement and collaboration. My teaching style is patient, step-by-step, and focused on making sure concepts truly “click.”
Whether you’re just getting started with coding, need help understanding class material, or want to strengthen your problem-solving skills, I’ll create a supportive space where learning feels approachable and rewarding.

As a tutor, I focus on building a strong foundation while keeping lessons practical, engaging, and beginner-friendly. Whether you’re brand new to coding or want to improve your current skills, I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps using real-world examples and hands-on projects.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in on your goals and progress. Then, we dive into the topic of the day—like building a personal website using HTML/CSS or writing your first Python program. I use visual tools, mini challenges, and live coding to make the experience interactive and personalized. We always end with time for questions and a quick recap to reinforce what you’ve learned.
What sets me apart is that I’m not just teaching from textbooks—I’m an aspiring software engineer who’s interned at a real tech foundation, built websites, and created a working chat app for teens using modern tools. I know how intimidating coding can feel at first, so I make it my mission to create a safe, supportive space where you can learn at your own pace and actually enjoy it.
