About Heather
I have been tutoring for over five years but also have 13 years of babysitting experience . In my babysitting, I routinely helped with homework and other learning objectives put forth by parents. Throughout my experience, I have helped approximately 10 students. Most recently, a student obtained A's and B's in honors mathematics and English classes from sophomore year through senior year of high school.

I am a recent transplant to Dallas from the Philadelphia area where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Finance. I primarily tutor middle school and high school students in math but also have experience helping elementary school students and tutoring other subjects including English and science. My favorite techniques as a tutor are using visuals and real-life applications to help students grasp difficult topics. I refer back to previous examples when building upon lessons and love to use differing techniques to help each individual.
