I have a Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry and have taught a variety of class (8 to 100 students) sizes both face-to-face and online. Over the last 20 years, I've mainly taught General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and General Chemistry for Engineers.

I am an advocate of active student-centered learning. I teach to inspire learning from the student that is curious, hardworking, and engaged. My approach is similar to that of a "flipped classroom" where students read material and learn concepts outside the classroom. The classroom is dedicated to activities that promote problem-solving skill development and emphasizes applications behind the key concepts of chemistry.
