About Daniel
I put the student first and focus on building a strong relationship with them so they feel comfortable and excited about learning. I believe that when students enjoy tutoring, they become more engaged and motivated to improve. As a tutor, I prioritize putting the student first. Building a strong and trusting relationship is absolutely key to creating a setting where students feel comfortable and excited to learn. By connecting with students, I ensure that they are motivated and engaged in the learning process. I always start by reviewing their current homework or topics, and identifying the specific areas where they need help. From there, I break each problem down step-by-step, ensuring that they understand and follow each part of the solving process. My patience and dedication are at the core of my teaching, and my strong suits as an educator. I strive to guide students toward full independence, helping them become their own self-sufficient learners.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to relate to my students. As a young college student, I can connect with them in a way that makes learning feel more natural and approachable. I also have experience as a yard duty at a school, where I was able to build positive relationships with students, and they absolutely loved working with me. My lessons are geared towards middle and high school students who are seeking support in math, ensuring they not only improve their skills but also gain confidence in their abilities.
