About Tea
My name Is Téa (pronounced Teyah). I am a college freshman at Oberlin College with a passion for Mathematics. For the months of December and January, I will be in my hometown of NYC, where I will be available for in-person lessons. Lessons can take place either in person or online, whichever is preferred by client. Start out with an analysis of where the student is at, and assess what they need to work on. Lesson frequency is totally up to client. Student grade level can range from 1st grade to 12th. Any type of Math.

Tea was my peer-tutor all throughout algebra and geometry in high school, and I couldn’t recommend her enough. Along with a deep understanding of the material, she’s particularly great at working with concepts in a way that whoever she’s working with learns to both understand the topic at hand and generalize it to deepen their understanding of mathematics in general.
I just wanted a math lesson, but Tea went above and beyond and taught me all that I know about chess. This game is now all that I have, and I will be forever in debt to my master.
