About Shelsy
During my entire schooling years, I have felt like I needed more from my teachers, I soon learned I wasn't tuned into the style of learning they thought and in turn, never 100% understood any of the things they taught me. As a tutor, I want to base my teaching style around your learning style in order for us to work together to help you learn. I want to make you feel comfortable enough to ask questions and ask me to slow down or stop completely in order for you to get it and really accept the information.

A typical learning lesson with me would start with us trying to figure out what we already know along with what we should focus on. We would discuss your goals and how you want to reach them, and Isay YOU because you have to feel comfortable in the lesson inorder for you to focus on learning instead of trying to understand what I am doing.
Instead of using lots of writing and reading, I want to incorporate lessons and heritage and fun facts and activities in order for you to get a well-rounded lesson of everything rather than just a small aspect of a much bigger topic.
