About Patricia
Hello! I am Patricia. I live in Florida and I am passionate about teaching the arts and enhancing my own artistic abilities. I offer lessons in a range of art mediums including digital, mixed media, charcoal, graphite, acrylics, oil paintings, oil pastels, watercolors, and collages. I enjoy helping my students flourish and achieve the degree of artistic proficiency they seek. Outside of tutoring, I am a college student pursuing an associate's degree in psychology. I enjoy passing the time by practicing my art as much as possible and spending time with family.

In the lessons, we will cover the principles of art, including perspective, anatomy, shading, lighting, composition, and much more. Once we've mastered these elements, we can move on to a broader range of art mediums, focusing on the ones you want to improve. The mediums I offer knowledge and teachings for include digital, mixed media, charcoal, graphite, acrylics, oil paintings, oil pastels, watercolors, and collages. I enjoy assisting my students in developing their artistic abilities.
Level 1: Learning the basics of sketching to transition to depth and dimension practice
Level 2: learning to draw the features of the body by blocking out their base shapes
Level 3: learn how to make the textures of the hair and their different types as well as advancing more with body features
Level 4: bringing together your knowledge to make art pieces to show me your progress
While we progress through each level, there will be opportunities to practice in medias other than pencil and paper, and the learning and level we begin with will vary depending on your level of skill. We can also do more stylized lessons based on your drawing style or the style you want to emulate or achieve.
