About Susanna
I am a college student at Elon University. I took all honors and AP classes in high school and am a straight-A student. I am a psychology major currently taking a developmental psychology course, which helps me better understand working with children and middle schoolers. In addition to helping two younger siblings better understand their coursework, I've also tutored their friends, specifically in math. I am always complimented on my teaching abilities and am passionate about helping you understand your course material and helping you thrive in school. Throughout the tutoring process, I will be flexible with you and regularly ask for feedback on how to accommodate you best.

- I will meet virtually with you (I have a somewhat flexible schedule and can accommodate your timing needs.
- We will start by reviewing a topic or lesson you choose to focus on.
- We will talk through notes, and I will also provide you with a review sheet of what we discuss. You can review this sheet later as an overview of what to study/review.
- I will then prepare practice problems for our lesson and give you time to complete them.
- We will go over these problems and can do more practice for the ones you struggle with.
- As a tutor, I specifically experienced working with K-8 students with ADHD, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. I used extended time and other accommodations in middle school, so I have some perspective on these challenges.
- I teach children from Kindergarten to eighth grade.
- I teach elementary and middle school English and math.
Ex. Grammar, Literature, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Division and Multiplication, Money and Time, Vocabulary, Root Words (word within a word)
