About Jasmine
Since middle school I have always worked with younger kids and helping them with homework and volunteering to help in younger classrooms. In High School I was a TA (teacher assistant) for a few math classes. When starting college, I started doing tutoring students online and helping them with homework and helping them excel in what they are learning in class.

I like to get to know my students and my methods and techniques will be based on them. A typical lesson plan will consist of a warm-up at the beginning of the session to start it off and will move on to homework this student has or going over notes in class and asking the student what they are comfortable with and what they need help with. I typically work with students who have ADHD and a shorter attention span because it is something I had dealt with in prior school years and I know how to help them with their struggles when it comes to academics. I like working with age groups ranging from Elementary and early High School.

An excellent model of what a tutor should represent. Being able to be a more personal, one on one experience is what makes a tutor different compared to a normal teacher. She is able to connect with the person she is tutoring very well and wants the best from the person she is tutoring. Making sure that they understand the subject to the best of her ability. She can teach in multiple smart ways that help keep them engaged in the session, such as making the subject funny or playing games as you learn the subject. Really makes you feel like you are learning from a friend rather than a tutor.
