My teaching philosophy centers on building practical communication skills and conversational confidence. I focus on helping you understand how the language actually works in real life, rather than just memorizing vocabulary lists.
A typical lesson plan includes:
We start with a light, low-pressure conversation in Spanish to get your brain in "Spanish mode" and review concepts from our last session.
I use clear walkthroughs to break down complex grammar rules (like mastering verb conjugations, subjunctive shifts, or sentence structure) using simple analogies.
Then, we will do structured practice together. This ranges from reading comprehension to targeted pronunciation drills, until you feel comfortable.
We wrap up with a game to refine our skills!
My lessons are for middle school and high school students.
