About Ethan
I was home-educated in elementary school and learned to read at a very young age. I think that helped me develop English skills early on, and bolstered my success in English throughout my academic career
I'm attending Miracosta College now, preparing to transfer to CSU San Marcos and my major is English. My English professor highly recommended me for a tutoring job at Miracosta; as she thought I would make an excellent candidate. I grateful excelling at English comes quite naturally to me. Since I'm fortunate to have excellent English skills, I want to help others who may find English challenging.
I work part-time at Barnes & Noble. I'm also a Notary Public; which means I have been fingerprint back-ground screened by the DOJ and FBI.

I chose to major in English because I love the subject; especially reading and creative writing. I also chose to be an English major since I plan to teach English at the university level and become a publihed author.
I like assessing students' learning styles first, and customizing my teaching methods to their personal learning styles.

I will waive the travel fee if you are located in San Elijo Hills or La Costa areas. I require a 24 hour advance cancellation notice or the lesson fee will still be incurred. If paying by credit or debit card, I must charge an additional fee of 2%. I think my fees are reasonable, but I am willing to negotiate them.
