About Hailey
I am a college student who has tutored in math for the past four years. I started as a freelance tutor for a year, then moved into tutoring at a center for two years. I now work both with a company and do freelance tutoring on the side.

My teaching approach is to help guide a student through a problem by breaking the problem into small parts. In this way, it becomes more manageable and the student feels more capable in their skill. Additionally, I usually ask leading questions, such as “what do you think we should do next?”, to help guide the student and allow me to see their thinking on a problem and correct anything that they have a problem on.
