About Luke
Cello has been the zen of my busy college life, and I would love to share this gift with others. I love to teach people and I find fulfillment in helping people learn and be able to accomplish their goals. I have experience instructing skiing, squash, and computer science topics, and I have worked with students of all ages ranging from kindergarteners to college students and parents. I have performed on stages solo many times and I have learned how to enjoy the art of performing. Overcoming stage fright is an important skill, and I can share my experience in how to perform confidently.

My lessons will be catered to meeting your goals for cello. This will include technical work with scales and etudes, working with musical pieces of interest, and practice methods. When I was a student, my cello teacher was very patient with me, and this is an attribute that I have internalized as a teacher. I understand the process of struggle to success, and want to help you reach success. I have a lot of experience mentoring young students and college students, and I welcome beginner to intermediate students of any age.
