About Matt
Hi my name is Matt, I am a student at West Virginia University in their Mechanical Engineering program. Throughout high school I worked hard to understand every aspect of that classes that I took as I knew that they would help me once in college. Now that I am in college I have implemented the same strategy and now have yet to end a class in high school or college with lower than a B as a final grade. I have been helping student with their understanding of math and the sciences since my junior year of High School so I have a good idea about is an effective way for students to learn the material. I have also been a teacher for the American Red Cross where I help teach and train the future lifeguards and get them ready to help and if needed provide life saving care to a person in need.

I like to work through real problems rather than explaining definitions and just talking to you why something is how it is. In my experience giving students problems to work on rather than just me talking to them helps the student understand the concepts a lot more. I will provide a structure of problems related to what the student maybe struggling with. Also will ask if student is comfortable to share Current HW problems they are struggling with to see If I can help. I have helped several high schoolers and college students in the past improve their understanding of topics and in turn improve their grades.
