About Aishwarya
I am currently a student at Barnard College studying Computational Biology, and have always loved to teach. My relatives always recount stories about me as a child teaching them what I learned in school every day, and, though it may sound cliche, my love for teaching remains strong. I would be honored to help you along your educational journey and maybe even help you to love biology as much as I do! Most of all, I want students to know that they are capable of anything they put their mind to, and I would love to help students realize this.

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my page. I aim to help support the learning of middle and high school students in biology.
Some of the things that are most important to me when teaching are making sure the student feels comfortable to learn, to take academic risks, and to ask any questions that may pop up along the way. My teaching style will engagement focused rather than just lecture based, but this balance will also depend on how the student learns best, as I want to teach that way to best support their learning!
My lessons will start off with a little brain warm up (such as a review activity of what we did last time), some time for any lingering questions from previous content/homework/tests from school, and then diving into the topic for the day.

Aishwarya is a very fun loving yet very detail oriented teacher. She’s very ethical, professional and detailed in her approach. Ever since she was a middle schooler she was very detail oriented and learnt anything well and would teach it to her friends and juniors in class. She is always eager to learn and teach any subject but really excels in teaching Biology as it’s one of her favorite and passionate subjects!
