Hi! My name is Marcin and I am currently working as a freelance film colourist. I've had the priviledge of working in high-end post-production facilities in London and I am a certified Blackmagic Design Trainer. Like many of you I am a self-taught filmmaker, the problem with learning alone is often times the lack of direction or not following a logical path that would best aid your learning. This is why I am passionate about offering these lessons in my spare time, helping new aspiring colourists learn in an effective and fun manner. ---- I cover everything from a beginner level (Let's create your first project!) to advanced techniques (such as implementing DCTLs, working in various colour spaces and optimising the use of control surfaces) to everything in between (understanding the different tools in DaVinci and creating pleasing looks). ---- I am currently a Blackmagic Design Certified Trainer for DaVinci Resolve 17/18 working as a freelance colourist. My lessons usually take between 1-2h but I am open to other arrangements! and are targeted at both beginners and advanced users who want to polish their skills and knowledge.

Perfect! Really knows his stuff and how to deliver that knowledge
Perfect! I signed up for the Davinci resolve classes as a complete beginner. Marcin was probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. His method of teaching allowed me to be proactively involved in the lessons and went out of his way to ensure I have material to practice with and provided homework projects. He is very patient which is so important as a learner and makes you feel at ease. He is a decent person and I don’t hesitate in recommending him. 10/10/10

Marcin manages to explain complex techniques in a way that makes sense. He's calm and communicative, and always prompt to our sessions. I learnt a lot about colour grading through him, and would highly recommend!
Marcin is honestly unbelievable. His knowledge of color grading is insane, but what really makes him stand out is how patient and helpful he is. No matter how many questions I had or how stuck I got, he always took the time to explain things in a way that actually made sense. He’s super passionate about what he does, and it really comes through in his teaching. If you’re looking to learn color grading, I can’t recommend him enough!
Marcin is a close and helpful teacher that takes the time to understand his students problems and find the way to better help them.
For me it was a very pleasing experience, as he showed me my way into video production, from development to post-production.Awesome, great Marcin thank you so much for your classes I rocketshipped my knowledge in video production, mainly Davinci Resolve so much and so fast.
