About Lauren
I'm NYU alumni and current Columbia University grad student with a background in psychology. I have worked with and tutored students of all grades from 3-college who have not only improved in grades but also confidence after working with me. I specialize in teaching children/teens with autism however I also work with high school and college students in essay writing.

I want to see you succeed in and outside of our lessons together. I have immense patience and genuinely care how you're doing however I also value both of our time. I like to meet you where you are and work together to access how I can best help you. I can tailor my teaching style for students with autism grades 3-8 as well as typical high school and college students. I create great visual aids and also have many outside resources to supplement our lessons.
I like to start the session with any questions from the previous week or clarifications. If there are no review questions then we can get to working on current assignments or concepts that you need help on. For longer assignments such as essays, I can help you to create a plan of attack to complete with as less stress as possible.
