About Noor
I am a recent graduate with an MA from Columbia University in biological sciences and an Honours BS in biochemistry, with a minor in English, from University of Toronto.
Over the years, I have taken courses on scientific and academic writing, modern fiction, Victorian fiction, fantasy and horror fiction, the novel, and the short story.

My goal is to help improve each student's writing and identify areas in which they can develop to become stronger academic writers. Together, we will review assignments and engage in the writing process, from brainstorming and researching to writing and editing, and focus on how to build skills and ultimately independence so they feel comfortable navigating it on their own.
These lessons are intended for students in high school or university. Both those who struggle with writing or simply wish to perfect their skills are welcome, and I will cater the lessons to each individual's abilities and personal goals.
