About Charlie
My name is Charlie and I am a student at university. My dream is to one day become a teacher.
When I was in school there was no one to guide me in how to learn, and I never knew the questions to ask. After a long time struggling, I finally was able to understand how I learn best and my goal is to help you achieve this understanding too.
I never want a student to feel as though they can’t do something, learning should be a positive experience and inspire young minds.

Every student learns differently and I am happy to adjust my teaching method depending on the student. Some of the methods I use are: mind maps, flash cards (at the beginning of every lesson for recap), visualisations (models of processes), key word lists, comic strips, and more.
I also feel it is very important for the student to understand what examiners are expecting in exams and tests. Helping students to understand mark schemes, helps them to understand how to achieve the top grades.
Typically a lesson will last for and hour and are primarily for GCSE students. In the past I have taught students as part of a summer camp program in America but also have work experience in a secondary school.
The key for any understand is helping you understand how you learn best. My aim as a whole is to provide the tools and help until the student feels they no longer need me. Students need confindence in order to succeed.
