About Thien
Hello there,
My name is Thien and I am research staff at UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. I love sciences and would love to help you succeed in them as well. I have numerous years of teaching undergraduate students and tutored both high school and college students. I tutor in various science subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics. My approach to each lesson is to assess the knowledge of each student by asking questions. From there, I go back in to fill in any knowledge gaps or further clarify any confusing areas that the student may be struggling with. My teaching philosophy is to encourage my students to be engaged in learning and have an active learning lesson rather than passive learning.
