About Madeleine
I am a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. I have been tutoring for over seven years, and have worked with over 15 students of which I have helped achieve an increase of at least one letter grade. I finished with a 95-100% in every high school math level, and I have a strong passion for teaching and helping others. Whether it's just a few sessions to prepare for a test or ongoing tutoring, I am here to help! Willing to do in person if in North Vancouver.

My teaching methods are geared towards the student I’m working with. I usually like to ensure that the basics of the topic we are working on are made clear before we work through applying them. I approach lessons by initially demonstrating problems, then working together with the students on them, with the goal that they eventually are able to do it themselves. I ensure through every step of the way that they are comprehending and will go over something with a different approach if they still aren't understanding.
