About Azad
I have always struggled through middle school and high school. I felt like the one-dimensional learning style of most schools did not accommodate the way I learn things. It was not until I was in college where I realized that I have learning needs that were not tended to. I found a tutor who explained material to me in a way that I understand it rather than the way he understands it. This shaped my educational experience and view of myself as a student. I was not a bad learner, I was not unintelligent, and I was not a bad student. This revelation encouraged me throughout my undergrad program and my current master's program. I want to instill the same confidence in others that my tutor instilled in me.
