About Sophia
When I was younger, I struggled a lot with math. It was only when my parents decided to get me a tutor, did I finally understand math.
Ever since then, I've been wanting to help other people who were in the same situation as me, get better, and maximize their potential.
I have a patient, and understanding personality, and am able to explain confusing concepts clearly.

Hi, my name is Sophia, and I have a passion for helping students who struggle with Math. If you choose to work with me, I will do the following to ensure your child can unlock their full potential.
During the initial lesson, I will try to get to know your child's strengths and weaknesses in the subject. We will cover how they approach questions, what they struggle with the most, and how to improve their math grades.
During our classes, times will be allocated for their specific needs, such as homework, upcoming tests, certain topics, or problems they may need help with.
If you have anything that you wish to add to our lesson plans, you may contact me about it and I'll do my best to integrate your request during our time. At the end of each lesson, your child will be given extra sheet(s) that they may work on, if they wish.
If your child is stuck or confused with a certain question in between lesson times, they may email me the problem, and I will reply with the answer and a step-by-step guide on how to tackle the question.
Each lesson ranges from 30 minutes to 2 hours, following the guide below:
:: Weekdays - starting from 30 mins to max. 1 hour
:: Weekends - starting from 30 mins to max. 2 hours
Qualifications:
- Completed Junior Cert, achieving a 91% grade on the higher level math mock exam.
- Currently sitting the fourth year higher level math at Dublin's Institute of Education
Lessons are intended for, but not completely limited to,
- Primary school students, ranging from 2nd to 6th class
- 1st or 2nd year students, ordinary or higher level students
