About Oshan
I work well with students, I have plenty of patients and will never get upset at a student. I am flexible and can adjust my lessons based on the student. I'm a very positive person, and I personally want whoever I am helping to succeed, regardless of money.
Willing to do extra work if certain students need more assistance, and I would do this for pay or not.

I understand how to make information stick, and I wont make the entire lesson a lecture. I will encourage students to ask questions about the material, and wont move on unless the student understands the material.
A typical lesson for me would first begin with the student saying what they currently understand and do not understand. I have a clear idea of the progression of mathematical concepts through the different levels (pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2). Then I will say what you're doing exactly in the math problem, do some step-by-step examples of different types of problems, and then allow the student to do multiple example problems. The example problems could be textbook problems or I can make them myself.
I work well as a tutor because i understand how to teach different types of learners, and use multiple examples and activates to teach the student, so they can learn the way they learn best.
I am most suited to teach Algebra 1, 2, pre-algebra, and any arithmetic problems or processes.
