About Kylie
My interest in programming began when I first learned how computer applications are created through carefully written instructions. I was fascinated by how programmers can design systems that process information, automate tasks, and solve problems efficiently. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and explore different areas of programming and software development.
During the past 11 years, I have taught programming to students from different educational backgrounds who wanted to learn coding for academic or professional purposes. Through teaching experience, I realized that many beginners initially feel confused when they see programming syntax and technical terminology. Because of this, I focus on explaining programming logic clearly before introducing complex coding structures.
My teaching approach emphasizes practice, experimentation, and problem solving. I encourage students to write programs regularly and explore different ways of solving coding challenges. Helping learners develop confidence in programming and logical reasoning is one of the most important goals of my teaching work.

My computer programming lessons focus on helping students understand how software is built using structured instructions and logical thinking. Programming is not simply about memorizing syntax but about learning how to break problems into smaller steps that computers can follow. In my lessons, I guide students through programming concepts gradually so they can clearly understand how programs function and how code controls computer behavior.
Lessons usually begin with the fundamental building blocks of programming. Students start by learning about variables, data types, and simple operations that allow programs to store and process information. Once these basic ideas are clear, learners begin exploring control structures such as conditional statements and loops. These structures allow programs to make decisions and repeat actions, which are essential skills for developing useful software.
As students become more comfortable with coding, lessons expand to include functions, structured program design, and simple algorithm development. Learners practice solving practical coding problems and writing small programs that demonstrate how programming logic works in real situations. My goal is to help students develop strong logical thinking skills and confidence so they can continue learning more advanced programming topics successfully.
