About Arden
I am a Computer Programming tutor with a BSc in Computer Science and more than 5 years of teaching experience. I work with high school students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Programming exams. My lessons focus on practical coding demonstrations, step-by-step explanations, and interactive exercises. Students develop strong foundations in key topics such as Loops, Functions, Data Structures, and Object-Oriented Programming. Past paper and coding practice are regularly integrated to build confidence and exam readiness. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and style. I emphasise problem-solving, debugging, and logical thinking skills. Even complex topics are simplified for clarity and understanding. Students are encouraged to think creatively and experiment with code. Lessons are structured, engaging, and interactive. I make programming accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful. Together, we tackle challenging coding problems and achieve mastery. My goal is to help students succeed academically and develop real-world coding abilities.

I teach Computer Programming by focusing on conceptual understanding, visualisation, and hands-on exercises. Students see how code executes and algorithms function step by step. Core topics include Loops, Functions, Variables, Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithm Design, Recursion, and basic Web Development. Lessons combine live coding demonstrations with stepwise explanations. I support Future Developers and Logical Thinkers, helping them strengthen foundational skills. Students practise writing, testing, and debugging code independently. Exercises improve problem-solving, computational thinking, and logical reasoning. Real-life examples make abstract concepts tangible. Creativity is encouraged alongside technical knowledge. Lessons are structured, interactive, and paced to each student’s learning style. Together, we turn challenging programming ideas into clear, manageable skills. Regular practice ensures mastery of programming fundamentals. Students gain confidence and independence in coding. My goal is to help learners excel academically and practically.
